The hearing on SB 0931 & HB1036 is Friday, February 28th at 1pm. The witness sign-up and written testimony submission period to testify on is limited to 8:00 am - 6:00 pm on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. In order to sign-up to testify, or submit written testimony, individuals MUST create a My Maryland General Assembly account through the MGA website.Â

The Farmers Alliance for Rural Maryland (F.A.R.M.) is a grassroots organization of Maryland farmers and agriculture advocates working to protect and preserve Maryland’s rural landscapes. This organization of farmers will oppose eminent domain initiatives, state preemption of local zoning laws, and any proposals that threaten the future of Maryland agriculture, such as commercial solar fields, data centers, battery storage, power lines, and warehouse centers on zoned agricultural lands.
